Horrible place and even worse service! The place was dead and still we were told to move to a smaller table that was uneven and full of glass on the floor (really dangerous) the place is also quite dirty - I wouldn't be surprised if there were many cases of good poison. The staff is rude and unhelpful ages to bring a drink and horrible manners walk away from it.

Dreadful. The older gentleman, an epithet he doesn't really deserve, was inattentive at best and rude at worst. I ordered the dauphinoise, which beyond the rather low potato content was largely fine - though the chef had made the decision to boil the potatoes before baking, which is.. less than traditional.
My partner ordered dumplings with a curry and mango sauce. The dumplings tasted strangely of cigarette, the sauce was inedible, and it came with whipped cream straight from the can. I've never seen such an odd pairing. We complained and received an unasked for ice cream as compensation. Neither of us fancied it, but would've happily received a coffee if asked. Terrible.

Good food (potatoes every way imaginable), good service - once we got past the overworked elderly gentleman at the front who was sorting forks, the service was impeccable. The basement got a little bit hot, but not overly so.

Good food but an incredibly rude water who at the end chased us down the road demanding a tip.
Best to avoid the experience and go elsewhere!

Good parts: lamb was delicious. Bad parts: Beef medallions were chewy and tasteless. Baked potato was tiny, basically a normal potato, and with only butter, a complete rip-off The schnitzel was good, but boring as it didn't come with anything other than potatoes. Had to ask for remoulade (the only option) to make it half-way interesting. Service was slow and basically non-existent. Server never came to our table to ask if everything was ok or not. A quarter of the beef was left on the plate. Chewed but not swallowed. We mentioned it, but nothing was offered as compensation.
