Very hands on way to learn about how chocolate is made. You get to sample it along the entire process and make you're own bar as part of the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Well worth the wait.

Pros: interesting to learn process of chocolate, you are able to take a bar made my yourself, and you can taste chocolate through all processes.
Cons: the group was about 40 people and it was sometimes difficult to listen to the guide, the group coming behind was quite close too so it was a bit confusing sometimes.
Overall is a good experience though; if you're willing to pay the 15€ tag. Guided tours are available in english and german.

We could see a couple of machines, and make our own custom chocolate bar. But most importantly, our guide was absolutely fabulous, and spoke of chocolate with such passion, that we were carried away by his stories and spent a formidable moment there.

Despite being a busy Saturday afternoon, the guide, spoke brilliant English and made the tour fun. You actually get to make a bit of chocolate to take home and learn about the different types of cocoa beans and their distinct flavours. Well worth the trip!

This is a fantastic place to visit for chocolate lovers and those looking to learn about the food and process. It's a guided tour ONLY, this is not a "museum" in the traditional sense, it's a guided, interactive learning experience. You get to taste the raw fruit through to the various stages of the chocolate making process. Must see.
