Stayed in a room facing the water on the fourth floor. Layout is good and comfortable and offers decent views and good light.
The location of this property is what makes it a winner, right in the middle of central Hamburg you have easy access to all the tourist things you'd want to do as well as transportation to anything outside of that walkable area.
The pool, while small is unique and worth a visit. The staff are all genuinely welcoming and very engaging. General cleanliness is fantastic and room was always put together well each day.

Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice restaurant and bar (for a hotel). Very well appointed rooms.

Service is superb at the receptionist with lots of smiles.
However, they do not replace new towels after I have placed them in the bathtub. Yes, I do know they want to save the environment but I would like a fresh piece. I have to call room service for a new one.
Not sure if it is the norm. I was asking if they could break my notes to smaller notes so I can use for retail, food and taxi. However, I was rejected after the receptionist hesitated. She directed me to the nearest bank verbally and I AM LOST! Seriously, a luxurious hotel can't break my 200 Euro notes???!!!!!!
