Very pedantic about minor scratches, but I guess that is a bit of a German thing.

Very poor customer service. Better to select other company or at least branch.
During car return process some surface defect has been found by Sixt employers. I pointed it out, that it was not me and it was impossible for me to find this damage before taking the car because: car was not washed and it was not enough light to see surface defect (not scratch, but specific defect which needed special light angle and reflection rate to see it).
However, counter personnel was pointing that it was definitely me who made this damage without even assuming that it was someone before me who did it.
As confirmation that it can be someone else who did it, I told to the counter lady that before taking the car I found some unclaimed before scratches, which Sixt employees missed to found.
But still person on the counter was saying that it was me who did the damage and called me lair.
After long argues I was promised that branch manager will call me back. But no one did call me. So I called to hotline and reached Erlangen branch again. Second time I was promised that they will call me back the same day. Now it has been 4 days after that promise. I didn't get any call.
I will definitely spread this information across all my network to never use service at the branch I used.
It's really shame to call customer liar without reason and not keep promises.
