The staff is friendly. But be aware of the check-in time. If you check-in late without a notice, there will be no one by the reception.

The location for the hotel was pretty fine for that price. The private parking in its backyard was very convenient. But that's all for the upsides. The room was pretty noisy because of the thin walls and the buzzing water pipes. The shower head was broken in our bathroom. The quality of Wi-Fi and TV was horrible. And after all the receptionist asked "Was everything OK?" as if she has never been in the rooms herself.

Friendly staff, inexpensive cozy rooms in a good location near the city center. Breakfast buffet was decent as well. A nice place for a weekend stay with good quality/price ratio.

If you need a place to stay a few nights - near the Rhine, the Dom, & Neumarkt - this place is all right - a standard German family-run hotel.
The building, rooms, prices, breakfast, cleanliness, etc. are all similar to many other family-run German hotels in modern 20th century buildings.
Only three things stand out a little bit: 1) the decorations are more kitsch than elsewhere (plastic vines and plastic statues of dwarves and cute animals), so if you have an eye for design, this is not the place, 2) the location is central but the immediate surroundings are not so exciting, 3) the woman from the couple who runs this place is very hospitable and understanding.
They also rent a studio apartment in a nearby building - again this is a standard modern German studio - entirely okay if you need a place to sleep for a couple nights when everything else is booked up.
