Chocolate made to perfection. The coffee shop on the second floor features great desserts, chocolate based alcoholic beverages and great coffee.

Store is great, with chocolate sculptures for tourists and a wide variety of chocolate on sale. In the cafe upstairs, desserts and drinks are excellent, as is menu selection. There are dozens of desserts, and hot chocolate comes in milk of dark with mix-ins from amaretto to whiskey to chili pepper and more. The chocolate fondue is definitely underwhelming, though, with a paltry selection of fruit.

Beautiful exterior and area around, felt like a kind with the first sip of its hot chocolate...I ordered the 70% one with cream. Extraordinary! the view from my table was wonderful.

Smells good before you even go inside. The chocolate here is so darn good. I could have spent a fortune in here! We opted for a custom selection box and although it wasn't cheap it was delicious and well worth the money spent! There are many chocolate sculptures inside and it does get busy in here.

I came across this place when researching top places to eat in the city. It came up on every list as #1. And it deserved that title. Fassbender & Rausch is a chocolate manufacturer, but not just any chocolate manufacturer - the store below is complete with incredible chocolate sculptures and truffles in every flavor you could imagine. But you'd be missing the best part if you didn't see the elevator. Upstairs, there's a beautiful and elegant cafe, in which I had the most incredible 70% Guatemalan dark hot chocolate. I also bought myself a Dark Chocolate with Strawberry Daiquiri Truffle for later.
