Great place to sit and enjoy the famous currywurst - meat or vegan - and to relax whilst doing so. It's a fast-food place, sure - but there's a nice covered area for sitting and the folks I encountered were all very friendly. The staff were excellent and very fast - if you're really hungry, you certainly won't wait long! The taste of the currywurst here is second to none. The only reason for not giving 5 stars? One very impolite server, who made fun of me in German. Hey yes, I was speaking English to my son. Do you really think that this means I can't understand your cheek about my order? Unlucky for you, I speak German pretty well. How was I to know that your pommes aren't vegetarian? I'm not a mind-reader....nevertheless, I highly recommend Konnopke's - just ignore the older lady who might be taking your order. All of the younger staff are lovely!

I mean how good a currywurst be? Would you wait in line for 10 minutes? :) we did and were not disappointed. At the end of the day it is currywurst and you will find something similar taste and quality wise somewhere else as well, but it is the feeling and tradition you cannot replace. Definitely worth the wait, fries were not soggy or too greasy. Great imbiss when in Berlin.

Tasty and filling but certainly did not live up to the hype. Recommend that you stop by if you are in the area just to get the authentic Berliner experience.

Not bad, bit didn't match up with the hype. But something to be said for having a currywurst and a beer here. Very close to the U line.
