There are always tourist traps in big cities, and among these is this 'Currywurst Museum'. 11 € for a very small og unimaginable display, with a strange film documentary included.
Enjoy a REAL currywurst in the streets of Berlin instead.

It's right next to checkpoint charlie.
I always bring my friends here whenever they see Berlin for the first time.
It's a really funny and interesting museum.
You can buy every kind of curry or sauce there.
After the tour you're invited to try their homemade currywurst, which tastes kind of disappointing after all the cool stuff inside the museum.

Tourist trap? Maybe. Unnecessary stand-alone museum? Definitely!
Just a week ago I "treated" myself to this Museum through the Long Night of the Museums. However it's definitely not worth the regular fee by itself.
As a "free" stop on my Museum tour it was okay. I definitely learnt some new things about Currywurst and its history. Furthermore it is probably interesting enough for children as it has some interactive parts.
But paird with sub-par and overpriced Currywurst I just can't recommend this place.

We wanted to have some light snacks here, the shop staff was extremely rude. Their menu is on the wall and we ordered two portions of curry sausages of €2.20 each, the woman said I must buy the combo meal which is €4.90 each (includes a dried bread roll and a beverage which we don't want). I asked why as the only ingredient is curry sausages which should be same for both options, she laughed and impatiently said I have to order the expensive one. Compulsory spending? For us it's a tourist trap and we left for another place nearby. It's a shame this kind of establishment still exists. Avoid at all cost.
