We're staying in an apartment type room and it's very large! Very tall ceilings, kitchenette, king sized bed, lots of seating and a sofa bed that we haven't even touched. The apartments have a separate entrance from the rest of the hotel but there's a roundabout way to access it from the hotel. The location is great - 2 blocks from Checkpoint Charlie and many other sites within walking distance. There are no irons available except for in the"iron room" and we didn't have breakfast so I don't know about the food here.

Great stay, during a vacation of our family of 4 (2 kids), large and comfortable room. (we took the family room, so kids had a room for themselves), excellent breakfast, free wifi in the room, friendly stuff, felt very secured when returned late at night, some restaurants and supermarket near by. underground line 6 and 2 and bus stations are within a walking distance of 5-7 min, can use the public transport to get to any part of Berlin within 15-30 min. The museum Island is within 30 min of very interesting walk.

Excellent stay for a city break here. Privilege room gave us two separate sleeping areas, both air conditioned, two tv's, two 'fridges and a balcony.
Great location, good buffet breakfast and friendly staff.
Very helpful with supplying gluten free bread for my wife at breakfast each day.
Highly recommended.

Wonderful place. Well located, with very friendly staff, and exceptional value considering what's provided for. Even the hotel bar, normally very drab in most hotels, is a quirky joy to sit in. This hotel has set the benchmark for me, the perfect middle-ground between not too cheap and not too stuffy & formal.
