Large, comfortable, and clean rooms with friendly service. Short ride to Tegel. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at hotel de france for three nights. I am british and was staying for work my German is awful but all the staff spoke excellent english. The room although basic has everything i needed it was spacious, comfortable and since i was on the forth floor it was quiet and away from traffic. The bathroom was very well kept and the shower was excellent. House keeping turned my room over each day and did a great job which was nice to come back too each afternoon. The breakfast was basic but of a high standard for what was available. And the French resturaunt on the premises was fantastic and would highly recommend this any guest here. You a long way from central station a taxi will cost around €15 but you can get the underground from out side the hotel instead.

Place OK if you resist the aircraft noise due to the vicinity of Tegel Airport...

Nice stuff, ok rooms. You will see it's best times are over, but it's still a nice place to sleep if you are in the area. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
