The Cosmo Hotel is located conveniently across from the Spittelmarkt U2 subway station, and a 15 min walk from Alexanderplatz and Museum Island. Its location is one of its best assets. I'd recommend staying on the quiet side overlooking the courtyard if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise the traffic is quite loud on the other sides of the building. The mattress was too firm for my husband and I (used to cushy American beds). The bathroom was comfortable -- good shower, spacious sink area. No makeup mirror. A downside was the temperature control -- it doesn't work. Other reviews say the same thing so I know it wasn't just a malfunction in our room. The whole hotel is a static temperature and you can only cool it down by opening the window (which you can't leave open all night because of the very loud traffic below). No idea what it'd be like in the summer. Overall: I might stay here again because it has some SPG benefits but I'd stay in a quiet room, be aware of the temperature issues and bring ibuprofen for the neck aches from the firm bed.

Incredible customer service, happy staff, beautiful rooms! I stay in a lot of SPG/Marriott properties and this one knocks it out of the park.

Clean, quiet hotel. Basically no temperature control. The little wall mounted panel was super confusing and it wasn't until I found the guide in the handbook that I figured out how it worked... And it was still confusing. Staff are very friendly, great for business travelers.

Really nice place, excellent for non-German speakers. Very contemporary design, clean and well priced. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it seems nice enough.
The U-Bahn is literally outside the hotel, in the middle of the street, very accessible for traveling around the city.
I would definitely stay there again.

Up to the standard of SPG hotels. Decent breakfast options with freshly made eggs on demand.
Rooms are modern and spacious. Price corresponds to the standard.
Location is good. Public transport in front of the door with certain sights easily within walking distance.
