Alors ce n'est pas un Hotel Grand Luxe mais vu le tarif pour faire une halte ou comme nous pour être à proximité du stade c'est un super compromis, c'est parfait...

Comme c'est généralement le cas, la propreté de cet Ibis Budget est irréprochable. L'hôtel est situé en périphérie de la ville mais le rapport qualité/prix est très correct.
Cerise sur le gâteau : le personnel est extrêmement compétent et agréable.

Budget hotel, you pay what you get. Yet very friendly staff and clean rooms with nice shower. Best to stay one night but to visit city center of st etienne is little far

Ibis is a worldwide known hotel franchise and well known for it's fair and adequate prices. This hotel is even more low in the price as one can understand from it's "budget" tag, but it shouldn't be low on quality too. The rooms are really small. The bathroom is small too. I encountered some strange dust/mold(?) in the ventilation of the bathroom. There was a crack in the base of the shower. The curtain was not wide enough so one side was always open and the floor of the bathroom got always wet, not very comfortable. The shower head had some cracks too. There were some loose screws, which looked like a lazy plumber was at work, or the shift just ended before the plumber finished work. Ibis really should check its rooms periodically. The staff was very nice and helpful. I was pleased they could speak English (which is very uncommon with French people). I had a pleasant stay, but I expected a little more on quality. The name says it all, it's budget, and this is what you get for your money.
