My wife and I stayed here September of 2017. We loved the place. We had a room on the corner that overlooked the intersection and could see Notre Dame. The rooms are small compared to America hotel rooms, but that's what we wanted. We wanted a room that exuded Parisian charm, and this hotel delivered. My wife only wished the bathroom was a bit larger. For me the intersection was a bit noisy at 2am because police in Paris use their sirens all the time. I easily fixed this by drowning the street noise out with white noise videos on YouTube that I let play throughout the night while sleeping. The location to Metro stops was great. The RER B is across the street in front of Notre Dame, and the RER C is right there as well. The RER C takes you right to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel location really is great. I would definitely stay here again. Side notes to American tourists: they don't hold your passport here. They photocopy it and give it back. They will hold your luggage until check in if you arrive early in the morning. Their policy is that you let the hotel hold on to the room key when you leave, and you ask for it back once you get back to the hotel. I actually liked this because it gave me peace of mind that I wouldn't lose the key, and it forced me to interact with the hotel staff who were all very nice. The room also had a safe of course. We had no issues whatsoever.

Great location, beautiful view of seine and notre dame. Cozy and quaint though the elevator is tiny and only stairs to reception level. No fridge in room and some rooms don't have stand up showers. But I'd recommend this place especially for a romantic getaway :)

I simply can't understand the good reviews here. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Air conditioner barely works and we inquired if something was wrong and they initially told us "it simply isn't as clear led as in American air conditioning. After 3 days of no sleep due to the heat and more inquiry from us, they begrudgingly moved us to another room where it was at least 10 degrees cooler. When we checked in they disagreed that we had not paid in advance for the breakfast and required that I verify w my own booking info that had been done. Then upon not eating breakfast for 3 of the 5 days I stayed there (my own choice), when I checked out they charged me one morning for coffee saying I had asked for it after breakfast was already over so they had to charge me for it separately. We had a car as we'd been traveling all over the country and ended inParis so we needed their direction for a car park and while they told us where one was located, they gave no advice on the location or pricing etc saying only they weren't affiliated and couldn't say. Rooms were tiny - decor is only ok. Yes this is a great location and a clean hotel but not worth the price v value.

The room was just what I was anticipating- not the big, sprawling American style but quaint and endearing. The view of the Seine and Notre Dame was spectacular and the location lent itself to walking the city which, truly, is the only way to really get to know Paris. We hated to leave.
If you truly want the Parisian experience, stay here.
