Tried to book 5 times over the course of this year, NEVER managed to get this place to simply pick up the phone.
Even by the worst Paris standards that's a first and I've dined everywhere ... been on hold for 23 mins as we speak and I'm hanging up for good.
Been in the past without a reservation and if you can cope with the either absent or nasty person at the door, it looks really nice, and waitstaff was normal.

In June this year we organized our wedding reception in Mini Palais. We were a small group of 13 people and overall our impressions are great. There are a few setbacks, however, that the restaurant should work on.
What we loved:
- we had a separate room for ourselves, with an exit to the beautiful terrace. Before the dinner we enjoyed our cocktails on the terrace. Since we arrived before 19h, we had the terrace all for ourselves which let us take pictures without people in the background
- the waiters on the reception day were amazing, especially the main waiter who was extremely friendly, helpful and was taking great care of our group.
- the food was spectacular, all our guests loved it. The tuna, steaks, asparagus soup, the desert, the wines - all simply amazing. Much better than when we just went to the restaurant as regular guests.
- Mini Palais is simply spectacular, there are no words to describe how beautiful it is, we visited numerous fancy restaurants when choosing the venue for the occasion and Mini Palais is definitely the most spectacular one.
What we didn't like that much:
-Communication with the reservations manager. She kept on forgetting our arrangements, constantly, also her English is not that good and we speak no French so it made the communication even more difficult
- Our room was totally silent, no music in the background whatsoever, when we asked the manager to arrange some music to be played in the background it took them about an hour and it played for about 20 minutes than stopped. When we complained they said we didn't have music in our contract. Oh, come on, should we also have put the cutlery and glassware into the contract?
- Generally the manager who was present in the venue on the wedding day was not very friendly. The staff offered us a complimentary bottle of champagne, which we didn't ask for, it was their initiative and then, the manager said we'll get no champagne, period. Why offer to withdraw afterwards?
All in all great experience we would definitely repeat and it will stay in our memory forever, we'd only suggest to train the management on customer relations and maybe hire some manager who speaks more advanced English to deal with international guests, I presume we were not the only foreigners to arrange some events in the venue.

Came here at 31 December 2016. We orders two starters and 2 main courses. I don't know why the rating is so high on the website. We felt really disappointed about the food and service.

2 Roasted beef steak- tasteless, hard to chew, overcooked
3 Vegetable salad- green beans too salty and the mushroom has no taste. Weird.
4 Soy sauce fish- soy sauce? Are you kidding me? Tasteless.
We spent 120 euro and had a really bad experience. The staff was too busy to serve us and we waited for almost 20 minutes to get the order. Also we ordered one bottle of wine only BUT the staff gave one extra to us and we paid more than we want.
千万不要来，外表看起来很高大上，然而价格和服务还有食物水平完全不成正比。巴黎好吃的法餐很多，请避雷！

The food and wine were both superb. The environment was very cool too, one of the grandest places I've ever eaten.
The vegetarian choices were unfortunately quite lacking and the portions aren't entirely filling, but that's par for the course with such places.
