Such a great surprise! We are used to having a quick drink in this local resto, but just ate there for the first time. The presentation is impeccable with labelled napkins and stylish plates. I had the Angus steak, my husband the Wallace burger. We were surprised that the waitress didn't ask how well we would like them cooked. Both plates were copious. My steak was absolutely huge. There was quite a lot of fat though. Also, it was just a bit too raw for me. I prefer medium rare to rare. The burger was fanrastic! The accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection! I opted for the cafe gourmand with 5 mini desserts - the quality of espresso could be better, the desserts were good, the madelaine was a bliss. The cheesecake of my husband was great but the mango coulis completely overtook the supposed lemon flavour of the cheesecake. The service was very slow and a bit unprofessional for the level of the food. But a great local find!
