Poseidon Diving center in Nice is a very friendly place to discover the charm and beauty of the Cote d'Azur littoral without hassle and rush from a 15 meter typical wooden boat. It was really a pleasure for me to dive with friendly people in a very secure environment. On the way back, you are kindly offered a refreshment on the boat while sharing your diving experience with other divers. Definitely a place to try if you have the chance to come around.

This was my first scuba dive ever - I had just tried snorkeling a few days before. I had such an amazing time. The owner of the club explained everything on the boat, in simple and clear terms. I then had time to feel comfortable with the equipment, and breathing with the mouth. I floated around in such a beautiful deep blue sea. Once I felt better and more relaxed, he took me on a 30min dive I will never forget! I didn't think I would be able to dive and not even panic a little bit. But he was here every step of the way, and after a few minutes, my breathing calmed down and I started enjoying the experience. He was always by my side, drawing my attention to my surroundings. I ended up playing with a sea urchin and starfish (which we left where they were of course!) What a perfect day and experience! I can't wait to go back to Nice and dive with Thierry or his team. Thanks again!

The coach does not care about your personal condition and just want to finish diving asap despite the potential safety concern. The coach is absolutely impatient and impolite to us.
We paid 100euros seeking for a professional guidance and friendly conversational . However, it is just a huge disappointment. What a disgrace.

My girlfriend and I had high hopes for this diving company, but from the minute we arrived we were very disappointed. When we arrived the owner of the company was very rude due to our lack of experience. While we were both certified open-water divers, we hadn't dove for six months and were therefore looking for a little guidance. The owner only made us feel more insecure about our qualifications, and was very rude.
We decided to go ahead and continue with the dive despite our concerns. Because we were unfamiliar with European instruments (PSI v. BAR), I asked the guide how to interpret the pressure gauge for the oxygen. He was unclear about his explanation as he hardly stopped to pay us any attention.
Already feeling uncomfortable about the professionalism of the company, I jumped in the water as instructed and began to strap on my BC, only to find that the waste strap/ buckle was broken. Instead of giving me a working BC, the guide instead tied a knot using the strap with the broken buckle. Consequently, the tank was moving from side-to-side while diving at 15 meters.
I encourage you to find a more professional dive shop before putting your life in the hands of these very incompetent people.
