Great museum highlighting the history of Metz and how it was affected by the Romans. Worth a visit if you are in the are and care about Romans, and the ancient history of Metz, otherwise, skip it.

Sehr schön.
Gut beschrieben und zeigt gut die Epochen der Geschichten die an dieser Region gewirkt hat. Man könnte viel Zeit darin verbringen.

It was interesting, but the way the objects were foreseen with light and the uncontinuous wall colours were a bit annoying. Also, there were barely any tag numbers near the artefacts for referral to object description. English translations would be very nice. :)

Fantastic! The only down side is that there is not very much English signage for tourists.

Amazing collection from Romans to modern times. Enjoyed the middle age painted ceilings, quite impressive!
