Based on my experience of the day , I'm extremely disappointed by the room
The mattress was too hard to sleep on , air cond. locked so no air was blowing
Despite being an none smoking policy hotel , I could smell cigarette all over my room
Staff wise : some are friendly , some please don't bother them with your questions !!
Housekeeping can be improved by 50% and please , the breakfast €10 for their breakfast DONT !! Way better to go to an French bakery buy croissants pain au chocolat freshly bakery rather than having frozen ones

Basic accomodation , very clean bedroom and hotel.
Very basic breakfast.
Very good if you are in transit for 1 or 2 night,
2 minutes walk from the train station,
Very close from all the chop.

February this year, I traveled with my family to France and stayed at the Hôtel Terminus Saint Charles, Marseille. I was travelling with a toddler and was therefore very picky about hotels. We chose this for its great location, but the entire stay was better than we expected. Not only did the location impress us, the quality of rooms, maintenance and behavior of the staff left a mark in our hearts too.
Each staff kindly and tirelessly obliged with their help and service, every time I needed it, and honestly, I needed it more because of a toddler in tow! The hotel's hygiene was a big plus -- clean bed sheets, cleaner toilets, the efficient housekeeping -- the hotel seemed attentive to every detail and comfort of its guests, with all that.
I'd say we didn't choose our room wisely, because it was on the street-side and was naturally noisier than the other rooms of the hotel, but then it didn't matter much as we were mostly out seeing places around. The interiors of the room was so tastefully done that anyone would fall in love with it. At least, we did!
Finally, this review won't be complete if I don't mention the quality of food fare at Hotel Terminus. It had some delectable items in its menu, which we were quite hooked onto. Even my toddler picked up some from our plate and seemed to enjoy the taste. We dined in there every day during our stay.
Overall, Hôtel Terminus Saint Charles was a memorable experience in our France trip for its pleasing hospitality, good food and excellent location. I would definitely recommend this to others traveling to Marseille. Thanks!

We were travelling around the South of France just last week and decided that we wanted to spend a night in Marseille and explore it a little longer. We decided to stay in Hotel Terminus, because of its central location. We were very pleased with our stay- for the great price that we paid, the rooms were clean, modern and well-appointed, the shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfortable. The following morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast in the lobby, and the friendly staff gave us recommendations as to where to go, what to see and what’s the best way to explore the city. Overall our stay was pleasant, the hotel is charming and most of all- the location is really great, as you can go anywhere from here. Highly recommend to all travellers and we will stay here again.
