Great place to experience the fresh wine. The atmosphere is very cozy and soft. The staff is very welcoming and helpful in suggesting the wine choice. The food is delicious. The prices are above average but the place and wine worth the money.
Outdoor seats available (better seat there in the summer).
Wheelchair access: the place is downstairs and upstairs. The toilets are upstairs.

Nous avons été reçu hier soir par un serveur nonchalant et hautain. Celui-ci a refusé de prendre notre commande de nourriture avant de commander le vin, nous obligeant quasiment à prendre une bouteille plutôt que des verres. A l'écart dans la mezzanine, il a fallu descendre au bar après 30 min d'attente pour commander la planche de charcuterie (que nous avions dejà demandé avant), qui d'ailleurs est très peu garnie pour le prix de 17 euros (pour 3 tranches de jambon cru, un peu de saucisson et de la salade). N'y allez pas si vous souhaitez passer un bon moment. Déplorable.

Très bon bar à vin. Ambiance conviviale et jolies planches. Dommage que la contrainte horaire ne soit si restrictive, mais la patience paye

The young man working here was nice enough to switch to excellent English so I didn't have to struggle with my forgotten French. This is a great place to try local wines and he showed us several and explained in detail. Tasting a sustainable/organic red and a champagne was a delight. Highly recommended...I just wish France would ban smoking at outdoor tables as this ruins anyone's experience with fine wines and foods.

A great selection of wine and very good sausages and cheese. But the best part of the experience was the excellent service from everyone at La Cave. One of the highlights of our trip to Lyon
