Definitely worth a visit on the first Sunday of every month when entrance is free. You can find some paintings by the most famous French artists in one hall but the rest is only worth the "price" when you can enter for free.

Excellent museum with a large collection. Mostly old masters through the centuries with a few newer pieces too.

Large selection of art work from various well known artists. Good place to spend a couple of hours.

Free entrance for art students. A grand and spacious building with multiple floors.
Some parts are still in renovation (Aug 2017).
Worth a visit even though the map is a little confusing.

Recently reopened impressive range of art history and artifacts, beautifully presented in a spectacular architectural setting with some impressive digital interactives, great value, a must see for the art enthusiast or casual daytripper
