Dog friendly. Simple, old bar which id a bit tatty but sooooo French. Love it!

Rustic, dirty, closes early and a limited drink selection make this bar seem terrible on paper. Yet, every single time I go is a great time! The staff is friendly and the simplistic interior seems to make everyone more friendly! Not a great place to go as 2-3 people (unless it's early) but a fantastic "apéro" for groups of 4 or more

A La Rochelle tradition. Might be a bit grubby but the staff is friendly and the wine is fun. Start with a bottle of the vin verte and work your way through ;)
