Me gusta mucho este hotel cinco estrellas porque el edifico es antiguo y tiene mucho carácter. El edificio nuevo en cambio es bastante feo (se llama Pavillion y comparte algunas instalaciones con el Old winter palace como la piscina y el jardín). El bar de estilo victoriano es una joya, recomiendo tomar un cóctel ahí. El servicio en las habitaciones muy bueno y el personal del hotel muy amable.

Good location in Luxor a short walk from Luxor Temple. Quaint, old style hotel. Food was ok nothing great for the price. Buffet breakfast comprised mainly cakes and chocolates than anything healthy or closely resembling breakfast. Bit disappointing for the price.

Faboulous just fabulous we loved it. Great team of team dedicated to making you feel at home. Would recommend in a heart beat, we will be back

I love the Sofitel chain but for a younger crowd this property may not be for everyone, myself included. Rooms are small, carpet could use an upgrade, my shower didn't drain properly and aesthetics could use some improvement. I do get there is a fine balance with keeping the original appeal....

What an amazingly beautiful hotel! Fantastic French cuisine and the staff can't do enough to help. It is a v quiet environment, a haven of tranquility away from the hassle of Luxor. I would recommend it with caution to families with young children, people come to relax and not welcomed. There are codes of dress and formal areas of the hotel aswell.
