I stayed here only 1night for bus time.
I enjoyed watching Utube movie using Wifi.
Bedsheet looks washed.
It has beverages that is local price.
Host was very friendly for teaching the tour location.

Be careful for the tour organized by this hostel. I joined the western bank tour and was asked by the tour guide to pay bribe to the ticket office so my student card could be accepted. I said no and he said "you don't come here everyday"! So, as it's once in a lifetime I should pay anything like under the table money to see those temples?
And then, when the hostel said the tour will be over at 2pm, the car came to a restaurant after 2pm, asking extra money (like 55egp) for buffet. The estimated arriving time to hostel got like 3:30. When I said I have another thing to do back in town, they said go to the river and take ferry by yourself to go back. What a shame!
Remember, you pay for what you get....
That being said, the hostel itself is friendly and very welcoming. Just think twice for the tour!
