Charged my credit card two weeks before my arrival.
Crowded breakfast room. And whoever heard of gulash, or spaghetti, vegetable stew or steamed vegetables for breakfast? Probably the leftovers of a nearby restaurant's dinner menu from the previous night? Repulsive looking cold cuts and cheese. No eggs, no bacon, but one morning grilled susages were available, and they were Ok. Otherwise, only the jams and the yoghurt were edible.
The wife's hair coloring stained some towels and bedclothes (happens all the time at home too, and it washes out readily). They tried to stick me with a fairly stiff "fine" for it (never heard of such a thing anywhere in the world, and I travel a lot). Gave up only after a yelling match.
Good sauna/jacuzzi room, although pricey. Pleasant interior garden.
Wifi works OK.
Cleaning staff did not do much cleaning - I guess they were too busy opening the wardrobe and checking through our belongings (there is a fairly simple way to verify that). Night staff totally helpless when confronted by a blocked toilet (no plumbers plunger anywhere).

Rooms aren't very clean, breakfast is ok. Shower doesn't contain water, service doesn't care about that... Very bad, I'll never be here again...

Make sure you take a kettle and tea / coffee with you as it is impossible to get either outside of breakfast hours and no kettle etc in the rooms. Majority of staff helpful but watch out for the very rude and shouty receptionist. Keep bottled water in your room if you're on the top floor as there is often none to be had for washing/ cleaning teeth and showering etc . We didn't have breakfast as the small dining room was completely full. Do not get make up on the towels for fear of being fined. Nice little garden area and generally ok for the price. Nice walk into the town and plenty of lovely food and coffee bars close by.

Mattresses dirty. Shower hanging going off wall. Carpet dirty. But loved the location for all sight seeing needs and great restaurants. The breakfast was very odd no options e.g. toast eggs very odd having salad and pasts for breakfast needs a bar instead off mini bar. Rooms could do with a refurb but enjoyed our stay will be bk.

Well it's no superior. If you get a bargain and you will be doing nothing apart from getting blind drunk this could work okay. However still about a 15-25min walk to the main streets.
The hotel needs some sweet love to be sure, and maybe some more friendly checking staff, hello and goodbye isn't a killer.
So the room, tidy and clean and has the basics. But if ya want to sleep, you will need the survival skills of Bear Grylls. You get a sack of potatoes for a pillow and a flannel for a cover. As for the beds, I'm sure a butchers block would be more comfortable The walls are paper thin, the neighbours we never meet but I could take a pop quiz about them. Cable TV consists of one music channel, so be ready for the top ten vids being played over and over again.
If you need some inspiration for a horror story this could be a good place to start.
To be honest if they looked into these things and changed them they could have a okay place
