A low bound of 3-star hotel, maximum

1. We had to pay with Czech Krona and the exchange rate was "from their bank". That was very unfair, because we ended up paying 5,5% more than the price for which we booked the place. 2. There were bugs in the bathroom and rust&mold in between the bathroom tiles (see photo). The cleaning service is doing its job, but the hotel requires major renovation. 3. "Double bed" were "2 singe beds" joined together. Very uncomfortable. 4. In the room there was no kettle to make tea or coffee (usually a standard in a 4-star hotel). 5. Room was very basic and dark, even water was paid and overpriced. 6. Breakfast variety sufficient, but food of the lowest quality.

Nice rooms but some are really small. Breakfast is ok. Nothing major to complain but for 4 stars I have higher expectations.

Good value. Booked on Expedia for 130 cdn a night and was pleasantly surprised. The building is a bit run down, and the staircase needs some TLC, but the room was great. Spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast was huge with lots of interesting items to try and a ton of safe foods too 😁. Staff, including the front desk, had very limited English. Which made certain questions difficult. Location is about 20 min walk from old town but we enjoyed the stroll. And the train station is a 5 min walk. Would probably book again.

Was pleasantly surprised about this hotel. Clean, a nice washroom with heated floors, and more spacious than I expected. Value for money is pretty good for location. Double bed is literally two beds pushed together and not the comfiest. AC unit had a hard time keeping up with the 30degree heat outside.

Good location, nice rooms, good breakfast, and quiet. Mostly, thumbs up to front desk staff for always caring. Thanks Teresa, Pavel, George, and Tomas for making my stay a memorable one.
