The hotel itself as in the buildings and the apartments are beautiful, location beautiful. Unfortunately the lack of common sense in the staff is terrible, 3 hours to be severed a 3 course meal at the Italian restaurant! The ability to multitask is beyond these people. One thing at a time and if you should even think of complaining...you are the bad guy!
The food.... I expected Cuba to have an authentic dish as do most other countries, unfortunately again Cuban food is everything and anything as long as it’s served Luke warm and with zero seasoning. The bars apart from the one by the entertainment all have watered down alcohol (all inclusive). Cuba is not a country I’d go back to anytime soon however the country itself is beautiful a definite relaxing holiday to be had for those very busy people. I will stay at a H10 hotel again most definitely, in another country. Also at checkout my daughter and I were accused of stealing an umbrella from the room to the tune of 100CUC! I ensured I let them know that my daughters Pajamas had been stolen obviously by the room service maid. Once I told them I’ll be reviewing on trip advisor the umbrella saga was no more and no talk of the stolen pjs.

Simply amazing! Beautiful and clean! Stayed Sep 30 to Oct 7/17. Resort is centrally located in Varadero, close taxi or bus ride to town.
Staff is friendly and sincere, especially Iris at the buffet! Only downsides is the bars.... you don't get the best service unless you have money showing so they see they will be getting a tip.
Other than that, highly recommended.

The hotel was good but the room service was horrible the waitress on duty and almost all the waitresses talked to me and treated me badly and with attitude when i got my room i found a dirty plate and a dirty glass on a drawer and they didn't put no soap and no water neither drinks in my room when i was thirsty i had to go to the bar and i called reception telling them all of that and that i needed room service and they told me they were in their way but never came. Other than that everything else was really good the pools nice the bars to i gave 2 stars because of the room service and the waitresses situation but the hotel in general a 4

As Cuban standards go this is modern hotel. Rooms are fresh and clean,the hotel is spread out over a cliff and has two Beach's one big that serves alcohol, and one small that serves food and drink. The restaurants are all in block 8 apart form the seafood. The food is OK just typical all-inclusive. Two pools and a infinity pool witch is nice just outside the lobby were Jimmy the number one bar man can make cocktails. Nice place to sit and watch the sun set in the evening

Ocean Vista Azul surpassed my expectations. The welcome was very friendly and unlike any that I've experienced from any hotel and I am a hotel enthusiast. The front desk staff Ana Marie provided prompt and amazing customer service. Daniel was a charm throughout my entire stay and made it feel personable even though it was a large resort. If you are going to book, I recommend that you book the privilege room type. You will be treated like a STAR! The maid Yaima made sure my ocean view room facing the infinity pool was clean and stocked with towels. I cannot wait to go back and relax in this modern and beautiful hotel. Visiting Cuba and staying at this hotel really left me wanting to visit once a month. Again, thank you for a pleasant and unforgettable stay.
