Travel råd og advarsler Trogir
Tourism Croatia Trogir Travel Tourism Guide - Trogir is one of many coastal towns in the central region of Croatia's Adriatic shoreline. Unlike many of the other Croatian coastal and Island possessions whose history stemmed from tribal settlements, the first colonists were Greeks in the third century BC. The Greeks traveled from the Island of Vis, an Adriatic Island that is now part of Croatia, and made Trogir a major seaport, The Greek control lasted until the beginning of the Roman Empire's incursion into the the Northern Adriatic.
In the ninth century, well after the fall of the Roman Empire, Trogir and the other Dalmatian Coastal areas came under the control of the Croatians, and during this period Trogir paid tributes to the Croatian Kings.
