Reception was very friendly - we called ahead to check for a spot for the night since we'd be taking the latest 45 min ferry over from Prapratno (Peljisac Peninsula) which left at 20:30 and were reassured that there'd be a place for us. Overall, the location itself is better suited for tents. The grounds for campervans (

If you want a nice, clean, peace & quiet camp site, this should be your pick. Nice owner, super relaxed atmosphere. Local restaurant around the corner and a 15 minute drive into the national park!

I stayed at Camp Lovor recently and I do recommend this place if you visit Mljet island and you are looking for a camping spot. The people that manage it are extremely helpful and our stay couldn't be more enjoyable. The camp site is in Kozarica, a very tiny village with a small beach and port. There are no shops in Kozarica, so you MUST have a car or scooter to be able to get food and explore the island. There is a really good restaurant though, which I would reccomend to visit at least once you if you are there. The camp is equipped with all you need, including communal fridge where to keep your food if you don't have a campervan, drinking water, bathrooms and showers, parking space. The location is secluded and pleasant, perfect for relaxing and enjoy the beautiful natural environment of the island. We did not have a tent and we rented one from the camp site. It was just what we needed but if you are looking for something a bit bigger you'd better bring your own one. From Kozarica you drive for approximately 30km to reach Pomena where you can visit the National Park (most of tourism of the island is concentrated there). You can also easily reach Sobra, the only village which has a gas station (!). If you don't want to drive far you can always chill out at the small beach nearby. If you like camping and you are visiting Mljet, you should definitely come here. In case you need a ride or a taxi, always ask the staff at the camp site so that you don't get ripped off. Beautiful spot, definitely recommended.

Nice, small camping site. Lots of shade, more privacy than at bigger camp sites. Facilities are well maintained, showers and toilets are OK. There is free wifi. There is no shop or cafe/bar here, but fridges, so bring food along. In the small village there is one restaurant and one bar (at the small marina).

Very nice nature camping! Lovely shadowed spots for the tents. The cars stay at the entrance of the camping which makes it much more "nature". Lots of trees, and space between the tents (you have your own space and not face to face with other campers). The owners are very welcoming, and super friendly. Facilities are very clean.
Thank you for a nice stay!
