I loved the design of the hotel and breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub were nice. The location was near good restaurants. I recommend Maria Bonita which is 5 mins away. Service was awesome, they set up the transfer of our luggage to and from the airport. Great hotel.

We stayed in the apartment across the street from the hotel, which was cheap ($700) and included washing machine and cooking facilities. A cute lil' Ghecko could be spotted once a day. The apartment had roaches, and was located right beside the Cop shop - unbelievably noisy at night, every night from 0230 - 0300. We lost hours of sleep, but felt really safe :-P The staff were good. The breakfast was VERY bland/boring. We're enjoying the Hotel Aranjuéz this time, much better!

This is a great hotel in downtown San Jose. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with any concerns you may have. There is a rooftop terrace with a view of the city, a pool and a jacuzzi. They offer a breakfast but early departures have kept me from trying it out. The rooms are good (bed, private bath, tv, water pitcher and the likes). The lobby offers bottled drinks and a couple of computer stations. The WiFi works well. The location is great for exploring the city (be sure to eat at Machu Picchu). Enjoy your stay.
