Nice, clean hostel with great shared areas and a friendly atmosphere.
Beware that rules about kitchen use and common area use don't seem to be followed, so it may be too noisy. But it's a plus if you stay up late.
Another negative is that someone has to buzz you in and out of the hostel, which is a potential issue in case of emergencies, and is annoying because there isn't always someone at reception.
Nevertheless, I would recommend.

The staff is very helpful and kind , the rooms are good and clean.
There is a pool and a bar

Nice hostel with a pool and social area. Location is just on the edge of El poblado which means it's quiet but close enough.

One of my favorites! They've got a pool, a pool table, private rooms, great location, friendly staff and its safe! I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it, loved the private bar with all the pictures too. When I had to change my reservation because of a last minute change in plans the staff was very accommodating and flexible with me. Will definitely be staying here again when back in Medellin!
