Awesome place to stay. Great view over the lake from all the rooms. Nice welcome gift (steel water bottle with their logo), cute rooms - a bit cold when it´s too cold outside. Absolutely loved their room key-chains and swimming pool.
Amazing food - and it´s included!
Definitely coming back at the nearest opportunity.

Best hotel in Patagonia. Fabulous staff, spacious rooms with interesting architecture. Beautiful views, multiple common areas. Delicious meals, wines, and beverages. I cannot say enough about this place.

The building is just as expected and showed in the hotel videos. We went during low season and although the staff was very nice and attentive, I think they need more training for the hotel industry. I asked for a bottle of wine during the dinner, they did not ask for anyone to taste the wine before serving. The wine was served to complete 4 glasses (almost full). There were multiple mistakes in the order....desert, meat, and others.
The internet is only availbale in common areas. This hotel works mostly as an all inclusive, so the services are available, but "As Requested". You have to ask for the excursions, they dont offer brochures.

We were staying at the Remota in December 2014. Our stay at Remota was exquisite; the best hotel experience I ever had. I travel a lot, seen many places and always disappointed by the misleading photos posted on the web or false advertisement.
That why, I decided -when back home to US-to write this review: it is real, exactly like in the picture and more; the food is excellent, the trips are fantastic and tailored after everybody wishes and physical abilities and the staff is extraordinaire. I will always remember the beautiful hike in Torres del Paine, the hype to the lake Sophia (and the hot soup and pisco sour waiting for us at the bottom of the hill) and the wonderful Marissa who was there for us making all our wishes coming true.

As the name suggests, this is a really remote place, yet the hotel is awesome! It was our first highlight on a stellar Patagonia trip!
