I go specifically to see Jocelyn. She was my facialist from tenspa. I feel the results are similar, but without the frills and the price tag of frills.
It's good if you want to do a quick in and out because you just want the service done.
I ended up getting a membership because it did make the most sense. I appreciate that I don't have to go every month (it's just kept as a credit for your next visit) as I'm out of the city half the time. I like that it can be shared at least with members of your household. There's flexibility.

Loved the shower / steam. Went for a massage after a run, and usually just go home after. This time I had to go out, so I used the shower / steam - I didn't want to leave. Awesome addition! I've been to Spas all over North America, and know how certain Spa experiences can last many hours, and cost hundreds of dollars. That said, for that perfect relaxing experience mid-day, for someone on the go, this place is tough to beat!

It is unfortunate to say this was not a good experience.
I've been to a few spa's and this is not at all a "spa experience". I went here because it was close to where I live.
I did not feel relaxed, the music in the lobby was very up beat, for example they were playing songs such as "Cheap Thrills by Sia".
The receptionist did not offer herbal tea, coffee and absolutely no snacks...as SPA'S are supposed to.
I asked for the added steam shower to be part of my massage....it is a bathroom sized room with a shower...nothing amazing but I must say, it was the most relaxing few minutes I had while I was there.
The massage therapist was completely unprofessional, he kept talking about how he used to get his clients wasted during their massage by giving them shots of tequila, he mentioned he was married with kids but then he let it slip that he has a Tinder account the he uses regularly then said "don't hate the player hate the game", he was full of energy, massaged me way too quickly and would not stop talking..I tried to give him hints to slow down and let me relax, but he didn't get the clue.
Basically if you want an actual "Spa experience" go to Fort Garry or the Clarion, I've been to these spa's and will continue to go to those places from now on.

Excellent massage by Lise (who also seems very empathetic). Massage was better than most 'high end' resort spas (including in 'big cities' and vacation destinations) that charge you more for an inexperienced RMT.
Hot towels to soothe sore muscles was a nice touch.
I highly recommend if you're looking for a great massage by a professional at a reasonable price. Also very convenient that they are open Sat & Sun.
