Unless You want something like this happen to you(picture), avoid at all costs. I purchased a package from them, thinking its a clean , organized place. Little did I know this is going to happen to my skin a few weeks later. I only went once/twice a week for 3 weeks until the white spots showed up all over my leg. Once it did, I contacted the "manager"(Keri I believe) at the Yaletown location. She not only took no responsibility( "this is not from tanning"), did not apologize, but refused to talk to me or offer any suggestions. Went to see a doctor immediately after, my doctor confirmed that the white spots are from tanning. Thank you Cocoa studio for wasting my time, money.

Gastown Location: Why would you close the doors at 8:40 when you're supposed to be open till 9:00 PM. If your time is that valuable to you as an associate I guess our money is worthless too. It's not like your tanning prices are really low that you cannot be inconvenienced to serve your clients. I am so sorry that your sales associate would like to just steal our money as clients and lock the door 20min early because she has other engagements ... extremely disappointed in your customer service and the services you provide. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to ever tan at any of your locations as it seams your time is more precious than the money you steal from us, your customers.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE PHONE ! The guy I just talked today at 6:20 pm from yaletown is not rude... more than that.How do you expect to get customers if you treat them with a bad attitude even by the phone? Pfff thanks but I won't come there at all now.

I really love this place. I've been going for a few years now and although it can get up there in price, usually they have some kind of deal going on that makes it worth your while. The beds are excellent, kept clean, and they have a wide variety to choose from. The ladies and one guy that I know of that work there are very friendly and accommodating and have actual brains (unlike some of the competition). I can't tell you how many salons I've been to where the person behind the counter is like a deer in the headlights. lol. They are all about service and go out of their way to meet your needs at cocoa. Although I'm only there 1 or 2 times per month, sometimes less, they always remember me and my name. The staff there are a highly professional bunch.
