I would've given this place 5 stars if their food was a little better. Everything is great: their service, view, timing. I wish they could just improve on the taste of their food a little bit more.

The place is quiet and the waiter was nice. Someone with us found a dirty, rusty screw in her meal. Then we left.....
We were invited back a few days later and had a better experience.

View was amazing, waiter was great, food was below average at best. The $55 steak (cheapest cut they could find I assume) and shrimp (more like salt with a little bit of shrimp) we're not good and I couldn't eat the salt and shrimp. The $110 steak (see above) and lobster (covered in cheese and baked like a grill cheese?) we're not worth $50.00 let alone $110!
DO NOT go for the food, stick to a cheap appy and drinks, enjoy the view and then go elsewhere for your main course.

View was spectacular. Waitress below average, her uniform was dirty, she was disinterested in providing anything but the most basic service. I have a food allergy which meant I basically had to go vegetarian but there wasn't a vegetarian choice on the menu. Our waitress reluctantly told us there was a vegetarian choice but it wasn't on the menu because the restaurant was a meat and seafood restaurant! (I am allergic to chicken and they even put chicken broth in the pasta tomato sauce!) The sauce for the lamb even had chicken broth in it! For a "high end" restaurant I would expect the chef to have enough pride in his work to make the appropriate stocks/broths for each dish. My dessert came complete with a spider leg, all 3 sections of it. The chef said it was part of the shrubbery! Only food should be on plates! Would I go back when we return in April? No.

Hands down, my favourite restaurant in Vancouver. Lived here all my life, been to plenty of restaurants and I have yet to encounter a restaurant that matches up to the Revolving Restaurant. Phenomenal food, great service, fair prices considering the experience, AMAZING views...
100% recommend.
You not only get a meal, you get an experience that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Buy wine while you're here, because they have a vast selection and very knowledgeable servers.
The prices are higher than normal restaurants, but worth it. It's nothing drastic. We got a large steak dinner, salmon dinner, stuffed mushrooms appetizer, tiramisu and a middle range bottle of wine. After tax and tip, it came to $275 CAD. It's not bad considering the quality of the food, the top-notch service and the spectacular views.
LIFE PRO TIP: Book your reservation about 45 minutes to 1 hour before sunset. You can Google what time sunset is.
