According to Filipinos friends, this is the best place to get siao paos. I'm not Filipino but I did try their egg tarts which was subpar. The siaopao/steamed buns were very good though.

The Apple tarts are historic as the recipe is from the now defunct Hong Kong Cafe accross the street. The bakery goods are generally all great... The restaurant is OK TO quite good depending on the dish.

This restaurant brings back childhood memories. I used to come here with my dad and brother to have their congee and steamed buns. Their steamed buns are unlike any other, it's my all time favourite.

Great spot for good in Chinatown. We go there for the atmosphere, service, and food. Very sad to see these types of places going out of business in Vancouver. It's a local business like this that makes our neighbourhood. This place is an institution and still run by the original owners. Can't say enough about this business.

Had dim sum here and was unfortunately unimpressed. Both quality and quantity did not justify the steep price (5$ per plate). It may be average price in Vancouver but I'd rather go elsewhere for lunch. HK milk tea wasn't as great as I'd hope either, it felt a bit too thick and lacked tea flavor. On the positive side, they make great pineapple buns!
