Great menu, affordable, friendly staff - is a great breakfast spot (and other meals) in a seemingly unlikely location which turns out to be just right - totally recommend it!

Good size portion definitely getting the bang for your buck without spending $20 on breakfast. Got the Mexican scramble and the salsa on it is amazing you should be able to buy it separately. Atmosphere is amazing staff are so polite. Wait times aren't to long even during prime brunch hours on Sunday.

Had the Gastown breakfast and absolutely did not regret making that decision. Exactly what I expected from a diner's, hearty and delicious. Really enjoyed their chili (I added extra hot sauce just for the right kick). Very friendly service and welcoming environment too!

Everything I've eaten here has been delicious. Most of the service staff are great, some have been amazing. Even on Sunday mornings it's easy enough to get a seat. If you want a big old southern feed this is a pretty good place for it. Order anything with fried chicken and you won't be disappointed. Lots of different things on the menu but not overwhelming. Prices are pretty good too, a well prepared meal for the price.

Order from the specialty menu. My last time the I wasn't too impressed. But today's visit totally redeemed the place! The specialty breakfast menu is wonderful! My friend had the pulled pork Montecristo. I had the grits and fried chicken. Both were excellent. And it was 10am on a Saturday and we got a table no problem (after driving past the long line outside Jam Cafe... Not worth it).
