The food was remarkable and the service was really friendly. I like that this spot is very unassuming from the street. Very romantic spot that felt very authentic.

My wife and I were very excited to take our son out for dinner at Akbar’s. I was even more excited when I found a great coupon on his website for a free butter chicken (which is Kevin’s favourite) when you buy 2 entrees. However, our joyful dining experience was punched in the groin when Akbar refused to honor the coupon. The meal was great, but my son was furious he didn’t get to eat. I’ll give it 4 out 5 stars, because the meal was delicious but I have to deduct one star for ruining Kevin’s birthday.

They provide really nice food but seems biased between white and Asian people. They don’t worry if they are and things are good for Asian people but keep pampering whites.

Vegetable curries are so Tasty, mouth watering.also they are very reasonable in price. They have good dessert as well. I believe they are best in town by far.

This takes me back to curry i was bought up on back home. I learnt the difference of northern and southern flavour in this city. This place is my favourite. Northern flavour
