Very cool space with communal and table top seating, a small gallery supporting local artists, and fresh delicious beer on tap. Had the Penelope Tart this weekend and it was dynamite!

Strange Fellows Brewing is among the best in all of East Van. Their tasting room is spacious, and their selection is exemplary. As someone who is not often partial to hop-forward beers such as IPAs, I was floored when I first tried their Talisman PA, Guardian White IPA and Nocturnum Dark IPA. These guys really know flavour.

The staff was great. I brought a growler and right away I was asked what kind of beer I like and what I'd like to try. I got four tasters in order of how I should try them. The beer was all pretty tasty from what I had. When filling my growler the staff continued to interact and be very welcoming I gave them a growler from Trading Post brewing as they did not have one on their growler wall yet, and they promod my fill. So I bought a 16oz tulip glass and a pretzel. Great people great beer 5 stars! I'll be back.

This serves excellent, balanced tasting tasty beer. If you were going to get a growler from any local brewery I'd recommend this place. Tasting room has a good feel. Food menu is pretty limited so don't come here expecting a burger and fries.

Enjoyed the beer. Flavors are complex yet clean. Everything was really well crafted, and you can tell that they don't release beers that don't pass muster. Only complaints are that it's so, so loud in there (to be expected during peak hours) and the music was played to be louder than the crowd, and when it's that busy, it'd be great to have a water station so we're not waiting in the beer line. I think I'd love to have their beers again, but would hesitate to return on the weekend.
