I’ve been to Elmwood a few times over the years and have always left feeling more relaxed than when I first went in.
The spa itself is split amongst different floors and guests use the elevators to get around. After checking in, you’re directed to the change rooms, and provided with a locker, robe, and flip flops. I’m not sure about the men’s change room, but the women’s one has its own whirlpool and steam sauna.
The water therapies area has a small cold pool, steam room, hot tub, steam sauna, showers, sun room, and a seating area. My favourite part of this experience is the steam sauna; the essential oils in the steam are a nice touch. My only pain point about this area of the spa is the noise level - sometimes there are those who don’t respect the quiet atmosphere. I think the staff could do more to ensure guests are aware of and follow spa etiquette.
I’m not sure if this is already an option, but I would also prefer to settle my bill prior to service and going into the spa, even if gratuities are included in the cost. Right now, you still have to check out and pay/tip after your services when you’re feelig super relaxed. Just not something I want to bother thinking about once I’m done.

I have been visited Elmwood Spa almost 10 years. It used to be very clean and nice. The prices are gradually raised every year and when compared with 10 years ago, it has increased 60%. And it has no parking services subsidy. Today, I went for services and it was my 1st time that the receptionist could not pronounce my name as well as greeting my husband's name incorrectly. And it was my 1st time seeing the robes provided which had yellow stains on both mine and my husband one. I wish this is just occasionally happened but still hoping they can keep up the best services in the town.

All RMT's, nice staff. Change rooms are a.spa within a spa. The women's has its our hot tub, sauna and the rest of the usual features. The bathing suit wring machine and plastic bags are a practical touch. Like that they have water therapy but there's just a pool and hot tub - there are much better water therapy facilities elsewhere so don't make this the main reason for your visit.

I felt very relaxed after my "Mommy to be scrub" service. The RMT, Margaret, used natural products. She adjusted the bed several times to accommodate and find the most convenient position. She performed a great massage. And she gave me quiet time to meditate after the massage. I was also very impressed by the staffs' attention to guests. As an Elmwood first timer, my entire visit, from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out was very smooth.

I was at Elmwood Spa in January 2017 for a surprise birthday present and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The spa itself was clean and well maintained and all of my treatments were performed to my satisfaction. I am one whom likes to pamper herself often so I can honestly say that this establishment is worth the price. My lunch at the spa was also good...I had no complaints. Thanks Elmwood for a pleasurable experience, I look forward to visiting you again soon.
