This is one of the worst place to live. Every time i think about this place, i feel like vomiting. Fitly bathroom, carpet is about 100 yrs old smelling in the hallway. No soap in the bathroom. It is expensive place for the area. I would rather pay little more and live at a better place. No towel, no soap, no shampoo. Location is definitely convenient . Not a safe place to live.

Avoid.
My room's lock was broken. The ceiling light didn't work. There were actually electrical wires pulling loose from the wall. My sheets were filthy and had gross yellow stains on them. The fan was broken. There was rubbish everywhere from old travellers. There was no privacy in the showers (as well as piles of hair someone had pulled out of the drain and not put in the trash!). There were bugs in the hallways. No elevator (travellers have luggage FYI).

I also stayed with three different people in my dorm who seemed to think it was okay to sit on my bed, touch my stuff and steal my blanket and sheets for themselves.

I've travelled a lot and stayed at many hostels. This was by far the worst I've stayed at. I never have high expectations but this place is disgusting.

Location was great. The room was big. Bathrooms were small and not really adapted... A bit over priced for what it was, but i still enjoyed my stay.

Make sure to remember to bring all your bathroom needs, including a towel. Landry facilities are steps away directly in front of the hostel(coin operated). In the heart of Kensington, definitely worth the price(lowest available $ 13/8/2017)
