My first experience at Riverdale Dental for me was quite satisfying. The Hygienist was very friendly and thorough in my cleaning. The dentist was also very personable and very concise with my examination. Also saved me from spending money on filing cavities my previous dentist said I had but in fact did not. Glad I came to this dentist for a second opinion. I will be returning.

Dentist came in 30 minutes late, and didn't introduce herself. She said I had multiple cavities, didn't show me the x-rays, and didn't bother to offer to fill them right away. Won't be going back, and it's a shame because the dental hygienist, Angelina, is much nicer.

Do not go here unless you want to be party to insurance fraud. They're your classic insurance plan scammers. On my first visit I got flossing and brushing lessons which my plan refused to pay for and they didn't charge me for. Each of my visits also involved lots of rinses and gargls, all declined by my plan. A simple and QUICK cleaning (no dentist involved) was $225 and rises they billed to my insurance were declinedd by my insurance company. $225 is more than a full inspection and cleaning at a reputable dentist. On another visit they "found" a simple cavity which they immediately filled. only ten minutes of work by the dentist but a simple filing cost my plan over $600, with some seervices which were declined. I should have said no to the cavity flling and gotten a second opinion because I doubt I even had a cavity when I read the reviews here. they never ask me to pay for any of the items declined by insurance. You'd think they'd want their money if they'd provided me with legitimate services instead of viewing me as a cash cow because I have insurance (after a few visits I got suspicious so I looked at the paperwork from my insurer's end... there were hundreds of dollars worth of services (mostly gargls) that had been declined by GWL but that the dentist didn't ask me to pay for. and my previous dentists did not have ANY declined items on their paperwork). NEVER AGAIN.

An experience at the dentist is different for everyone, but I've been here several times and always get friendly, helpful treatment. I especially enjoyed the cleaning, and the hygienist was great company, plus CP24!!

My first experience at this office was great, the dentist talked to me not at me told me why my jaw hurt so much and what i need to do. The hygienist even went as far as show me how to brush properly in M shape upper and W shape lower, even how to floss. I am happy went to them for my dental care.
I have no benefit so it's nice to meet people who treat people not insurance benefits.
