The Bull underwent the full upgrade along with the rest of the Firkin chain some years ago. It's still a go to neighbourhood spot, which feels cozy even though it actually has quite a reasonable capacity. Pool tables and dart boards available. The staff has largely been there forever - they're knowledgeable and friendly (when they're not being slammed by some huge crowd). The menu is varied and ample - lots of beverage choices of course, but also food that range from ok to surprisingly good. The chickpea and coconut curry is especially nice.

A local for my group friends, I've been here a dozen times over the past few years. Overwhelmingly positive experiences. The staff and security are friendly and attentive. The decor is a little over the top for a "UK/British" themed pub but it's easily ignored. There's a darts board and two pay-per-play 8-ball pool tables in the games area above (somewhat proportionally small for the overall size of the establishment, particularly compared to other Firkins). The board games chests only contain one complete chess set (all the other games have long since lost pieces).
The food is good and they have a good selection of libations, particularly beers. Their main kitchen menu is well rounded, their late-night menu is limited and kicks in relatively early. Nachos in their various forms are always a staple.
My favourite thing about this particular venue is that it's never too busy or too loud. I've yet to feel like our server was spread too thin over too large a section. As a result it's relatively 'quiet' for when you want to hear the conversation. Conversely, there's always a game on a television in any direction to allow you to ignore one.
The clientele is as varied as any local pub but generally it's late twenties up. From time to time the weekend will bring a group of millennials who pour out of the nearby condos. Unlike a few other establishments in the area this place sticks to its hours of operation and doesn't kick you out just because the night's running slow.
The only notable negative experience was when I was double charged for a few rounds of drinks. I do believe it was an honest mistake. No matter though: the server, as nice as they were, no longer works there.

This pub is spacious, it has a decent selection of draught and bottled beers international as we as domestic.
It also has 2 pool tables at $2.00 per game (free on Sundays) as well as free dart boards for the passive sports enthusiasts.
The staff is friendly and the grub reasonably priced
The only drawback for me is that it doesn't feature live bands which it could help make this place an ideal destination.
Then again as Mr. Jagger said "you can't always get what you want"
My suggestion is for you to try it and get a feel for it

Our firm's baseball team comes here every week after our games in the summer. This pub checks all the boxes: cozy interior, good food, good drinks, and friendly staff. The pub's layout makes it a great destination for large groups. The upper level area has pool tables and dart boards and is the usual hangout of our group. I haven't had a bad experience since I've been going here. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place. I feel like every restaurant/bar/pub In Toronto can really learn alot from this place. The staff are hands down the best individuals I've ever had. This is the first place place I would suggest to my friends. They have a manager named Tim. Talk about professional.... Direct eye contact . Great hand shake. Super friendly. Why can't there be more managers like this guy.... Seriously... All my friends loved him. I am very picky about customer service.... And this place blew away my expectations..... And they continue to do so with every visit. Thank you for being my number one place to come and have a great night.
