Terrible experience! Have never experienced such a rude behaviour ever. Apparently the manager doesn’t like people from Indian descent. I went with my friends here and we asked a table for 3 from the waitress. She said there are no vacant tables in a very insulting way although we could see 3 vacant tables right in front of us. When we spoke to the manager, he was no less. He was extremely rude and arrogant and didn’t even for once showed any politeness or hospitality. We felt extremely disappointed as we hunt down this restaurant just because we were craving Indian food. We went to Quebec from Toronto and never had such a bad experience. In fact we headed to a Pizza place after this terrible place and had a great experience. We failed to understand how are they running this restaurant with such an arrogant behaviour. If you do not wish to get insulted or spoil your mood after seeing the beautiful Quebec city, look for other options. DO NOT waste your time here!

Worst experience ever...Trust me... Don’t ever think to go there...after seeing some of the good reviews i gave a second thought to go there...But once i was there..the servers started saying no from the door and didn’t even let us enter..there were enough tables left vacant yet they shouted no vacant tables and showed us the door. When I spoke to the Manager, he wasn’t accommodating as well and was equally rude. Never experienced such rude behaviour ever before. The food ordered by a friend a few days later wasn’t good as well. Extremely disappointed from this place! Steer clear!

I realize my experience was completely different than others but I really liked the food and I consider myself a foodie.
Like others have said, service depends on what you expect. I wouldn't say service was top notch but it wasn't bad either. We got our food fairly quickly, chicken bhuna was tasty, chicken was fully cooked and soft. Gravy was legit too. I asked for hot and I got hot food (spice-wise). I ordered garlic nan which was a departure from what I have had in India and elsewhere, but to be fair to the owner he did tell me that it isn't authentic before I placed the order. My friend ordered regular nan which looked good (as expected).
Owner was gracious enough to let us continue eating for another 30-35 mins after his closing time (10 pm) and offered to pack the leftovers but we were just too full that night and had no means to store the food.
I would definitely return to this place if I get a chance.

The owner of this restaurant was extremely rude and provided terrible customer service! We were served spicy food when we requested for mild food before placing the order. To top this, when we were paying the bill, the owner asked for a larger tip, despite us being very dissatisfied with the service provided. Instead of trying to improve the situation the owner was simply interested in improving his bottom line. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
