Mermaid pool services have been my go to place for all my pool needs for the past 27 years. I have always found the staff at the store and the Repair Services folks very courteous and helpful. My most recent experience was the replacement of my three way valve; The response time was less than 24 hours. The technicians were friendly and quick with the repair. The replacement valve and required piping was professionally installed. I will not hesitate to look to Mermaid to keep my pool up and running. My grandchildren love the pool. How can I refuse to meet their fun expectations?

I was very pleased with the service done by Mermaid pools on the setup of my spa.
Phil in spa support came on a Sunday and a holiday weekend to get my spa going
He was very supportive and took time to get it done well!

We have been long time clients at Mermaid Pools. Our pool has provided us with many great family memories. When we started on this journey, we knew nothing about pools and pool maintenance. We are in the store frequently and rely heavily on the expertise of the staff. The water testing station is a crucial to our maintenance (even made it pretty easy) and the staff are knowledgeable and professional. We will always go back to Mermaid for all of our pool needs!

Mermaids is a good name for this place, because they are as fictitious as the service they provide customers.
First off, I am someone who is patient and understands nothing is perfect. I knew this company charged more than their competitors but thought I was buying peace of mind with their years in business; I was completely wrong. I bought a new pool with them and had problems with installation dates continually changing, parts not working properly, refusal to reimburse non working parts and most of all, atrocious after sell customer service. The communication between departments is defective; you send emails, you wait a long time for a response; you go in-store, you are told to send an email...
I also understand now why their star rating is so high. As soon as you write a bad review, they offer you free services if you take them down. This star rating is definitely not a true representation of the quality of service they provide. I recommend you shop around and take a look at competitors...
