Beautiful spa and resources for a decent price, it the service could be greatly improved in all areas and the place seems a bit understaffed. The spa itself seems well kept and has clean facilities. However I had a bad dining experience at the restaurant for dinner. My waitress seemed to acknowledge everyone except me and I felt neglected as she failed to ask how everything was, would walk past me several times without picking up any empty dishes, and always came to my table last if at all. But quick to cash me out and have me leave... great food but unfortunately very poor service. Aside from that, would recommend the spa itself but come early as it gets too busy throughout the day and not as peaceful and relaxing of an experience as during non peak hours

I visited Le Nordik for the third time this past long weekend. The grounds were as usual beautifully maintained and provided a relaxing environment. My husband and I enjoyed the Russian Sauna addition with the lavender or eucalyptus salt scrub. I was however very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Upon checking in we were notified they were out of robes to rent. We were told to check back in 2 hours which we did, and we were able to rent robes. I asked for a discount ( for the robe rental only ) since we were already 3/4 of the way through our visit. I was informed by the front desk staff “ I don’t have the power to do that “ Our robes should have been complimentary or at the very least discounted. I expected a higher level of service from this type of spa.

The facility is great. The crowd could use some help in being mindful to the volume levels of conversation. It doesn't feel like a relaxing place to be with groups chatting openly. More staff providing reminders to whisper may help, there was only one today. I would also recommend adding signage along The walk way to reception asking for silence and peacefulness to get guests ready for the experience. The intake process could use improvement as well. Although the staff was very helpful, we waited an hour to get in. Thanks

I love coming to Le Nordik for a little vacation without having to go far from home. This place is so beautiful and relaxing, it's just like being on a resort. I love the new taco shack and they also have a grilled cheese and beer area. With so many pools and saunas of various temperatures, there's something for everyone. There's some yoga gear on site as well so you can do some exercise and roll out your muscles. There's also a really cool shower area with exfoliating salts to treat your skin. The restaurants are excellent and provide all kinds of options for people with dietary restrictions. You can take your drinks to the pools in plastic cups which is awesome. I don't think there's anything more relaxing in Ottawa than sipping on a cider in the infinity pool while overlooking the beautiful countryside. It's expensive but so worthwhile!

Nordik is beautiful, but it's changed a lot since it the first year they opened. The entire grounds were silent (no talking allowed) or quiet (soft voices), which made it like a silent retreat and more spiritual.
The spa is much more resort like now, with music playing by the infinity pool, and alcohol served close by. If that's not your thing, you can stay away from that area, but the resort mentality has spread through all sections of the spa.
I found it very relaxing, but I enjoy the resort atmosphere with lounge music playing, and the sun in the sky! If you prefer a more traditional spa experience, stay in other areas on the spa and stick to silent areas.
Food was great, but a little pricey. I'd suggest keeping a granola bar or sandwich in your bag if you don't want the day to become a $100 + excursion for the day.
The robes are $12 + tax each. In my opinion, they are worth getting!
