I have been taking our animals to Clarington Animal Hospital for about 3 years. I have always had a positive experience. The staff are all very helpful in every situation. They show great compassion & clearly work in the business because they love animals. I have birds, hamsters, a cat, a dog & a new puppy. I feel very confidant that they always receive quality care. The rates are also the most reasonable I have ever encountered. They try to limit costs & do not push treatments just to run up the bill. I switched vets due to this issue. Even if I move far away, I would continue to bring my pets here!!!

I have never in my life seen such an amazing group of people. We had to put our beloved dog down yesterday and the amount of love and compassion we experienced was nothing short of a miracle. The staff at this clinic made Murphys final hours as peaceful as any pet parent would want. Every pet there is treated like family, this hospital really is a blessing in our small town.

Tried to get an appointment for my Lovebird with no success . Due to my schedule I can only make appointments after six pm during the week or after 12:30 pm on Saturday. Although Clarington Animal Hospital is open until 7:00 pm on weekdays and 2:00 pm on Saturdays they say I would have to be there by 6:00 pm on weekdays and on Saturdays the doctors leave at 12:00 pm and they are open until 2:00 only for sales of food etc. No one outside of Toronto treats birds other than Dr.Ingram. We where one of his first customers years ago when he first opened shop and he is a good vet. . My Ritson Vet has better hours and great vets but they don't look after birds. I'm very upset by the lack of compassion when there is no other avian Vet here.
