Beautiful setting, lovely crab cakes. The pork tenderloin entrée was very dry and overcooked. When we brought this to the attention of our server, he went to the chef and came back to tell us, "that's how it needs to be cooked" and there was no apology. He went on to say that the reason that the risotto was served as an accompaniment was to counter the dryness of the pork. It was an unsuccessful dish and left us all quite disappointed. The server offered us no compensation for our clear dissatisfaction with the dish, which 4 of us ordered. I've since consulted two other chefs on the matter of "serving dry pork because of health concerns", as I had never encountered this issue at any other restaurant - and pork tenderloin happens to be one of my favorite dishes to order! They figured that the chef at Christina's At the Lake either made a mistake that she was unwilling to admit, or is inexperienced and does not yet know how to properly cook tenderloin. "It can be tricky to cook right, because it has a tendency to become overcooked quickly", one of them said. These were $28.00 entrées. We had a table of 8 and everyone ordered appetisers, desserts and wine, yet our concerns were not only disregarded, but the server seemed to get emotional and offended. We spent hundreds of dollars that night and he offered no compensation and we approached it in a positive, friendly manner. It was bad customer service. This is a big disappointment to me, as this used to be my favorite restaurant; however this my first time back since they have changed hands, and I am sad to say, I will not be back again. Had the server or chef at least validated our concerns, I would have surely gone back to try another dish. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Have been here a number of times. The food is always top-notch. Great view of the lake. Not as busy as it should be based on this. A hidden gem on the lake.
