First, even though the price for this gym varies, it is one of the cheapest you can get, and is perfectly located at the center of downtown Montreal, right next to McGill station! They are also offering a lot of different classes, which I haven't tried yet.
The gym has 3 levels. One for cardio (with treadmills, stationary bikes and steppers (2nd level), one for upper body training (1st) and one for legs, abs and classes (3rd). There are a lot of different machines (though some are missing) over a large area which makes them available most of the time, even though you might have to wait up to 15 minutes from time to time.
So far so good. The two majors cons with this gym are cleanliness and equipment condition, which clearly explain the gym's low membership price.
Dust in every corner, all of the equipment seem like it has been handed to them for free from gyms that had to upgrade their equipment.
I've found a snake shaped barbell (used so much it was permanently bent on many spots), a barbell with the loading section falling off, squat racks with thin, bent safety arms and not so secure J-cups.
Even though there are quite a lot of weights available, they are all mixed up all the time and it can be a pain in the ass to search them all around the gym. I've only found 25lbs plates on the 3rd floor, a single or maybe two pairs of 2.5lbs and 5lbs in the whole gym. There is almost no clocks, and when they are, they're so small you must be in front of them to see the seconds. The sinks in the male locker room make you feel like you're in a 3rd world country. And washing my hands after my training turns the water brown for 2-3 washes, which kind of makes me feel like Jesus.
Nonetheless, for a low price, this gym allows me to do my training completely, not without a hassle, but I still recommend it.

They took everyone's money and disappeared. The day before they closed the gym, I was advised to bring my friends as they had some good promotions going on. Now I'm glad that I didn't drag my friends into this trouble.

Great owner, always friendly and willing to help if you need anything!
I'm leaving the country in the next few days but I know they are just getting in new equipment, the equipment was probably the only thing slightly letting the place down and that's if you're bothered about using old weights, which I'm not particularly.
I have no idea how they keep afloat being so cheap, all in all, easily the best value gym I have ever been to, real weightlifters gym and I'll be gutted to be leaving - I pay the same for a month back home that I paid for 12 months here!

Don't be fooled by the luck of other gyms this is the best gym I have ever been. The classes are awesome. And there are machines and gear for every exercise you want to do. The attention of the owner and staff is great. Best ambience and atmosphere promotes friendship. After a while it becomes like a club. The price for what you get is the best in all great Montréal area.

I heard of this place from my friend because of its cheap price. Seriously, I could not find any cheaper gym in Montreal. And it's fully equipped with weight, cardio and so. Tho some of them are kind of old, for a body builder like, it is more than enough. Located in downtown, good position. I heard there gonna be two more opening this year and the membership will be shared among all of them. I hope it's true, which makes it a perfect choice for people looking for a gym.
