I order a taxi very often due to my job through the automated phone system and I never have any issues. Taxis arrive in roughly 10-15 minutes and any time I've had to call for issues, the employees are polite and helpful.

Taxi Diamond is my-to taxi service and I don't see that changing for a while.

True story: I forgot a bag in a Taxi Diamond. After many different attempts using different pieces of information the lost and found was able to track down my driver.

The Driver (Mr. Day) took time at almost midnight to go home, pick up and drop off my bag with some pretty valuable items in it.

He could have easily kept it, but he didn't.
The operator could have easily given up and she didn't.

They were both genuinely happy to be able to give me back my items. I thanked them both profusely and Mr. Day and I talked for a bit and we laughed about it. All in all great customer service from a company/industry that has had troubles recently.

Pathetic service, I was at metro station Du College and they wanted an exact address or else they wont pick up.. instead of helping out; the person on phone hung up. Not once but thrice.
Moreover when I tried to call back to give them an exact address, mind you by now I had already spoken to 2 rude operators, they disconnected my call.

I quickly took a near by taxi run by taxi service Michel Taxi I think, the guy was very sweet.

This is not the first time I have had issues with Diamond taxi operators, not knowing french can be an issue but when you try to get a service and people are rude for no reason, that definitely is unacceptable.

I enjoyed using this service because of their convenience with the app when I first moved to Montreal and was looking for apartments. Even though the drivers never knew anything about the city, it was ok to help them navigate with maps.
Last weekend I booked a cab on the app. It said they were coming even with the cab number but they never came even though they were very close by.
So, I called the service and they insisted I never booked a cab even though I gave them the number repeatedly. When I said "Could I just book one through you now?" the operator sighed loudly.
When the cab finally arrived, the guy told me after we started driving that his debit machine was down. I had no cash so he said we'd stop at a bank. I said there was a BMO near my home and he could stop there on the way.
Instead of stopping on the way, he took a roundabout route that went PAST my home, and kept charging me as we went to the bank. The fare went up very quickly to $4 more than it should have been if he had just stopped at my home. I assumed he would just charge me for the trip to my home since it was not my fault he had no debit machine, but he didn't so I didn't tip him. He was clearly annoyed by this.
Terrible service.

I took the taxi twice today to bring my cat to the vet for an emergency visit. The first driver was sweet and didn't mind my cat was meowing a lot in his crate. He gave me a good price for the drive there and I didn't have to pay extra for his mistake in driving past the clinic. As for the second driver, he gave me a discounted price, since we were stuck in traffic for so long due to construction. I loved their consideration and their promptness. They picked me up with 5 minutes in both place.
