16$ = cheeseburger + poutine. Need I say more? Its (No drink included, but taxes included). A typical fast food joint will charge 10$. Why the 60% premium? Giving 3 stars only because the clam chowder is excellent.

Fish and chips are hit and miss but have been better lately. Fish and beef burgers are good too but the clam chowder is pretty darn good. Staff is always friendly and service is great

I come here from time to time on work break, I'm a big fan of fish and chips. The atmosphere is nice, even though the place is compact it doesn't feel that way. Although the fish choice is limited, the quality of the the food is delicious with a variety choice of sauces to go with it and you can replace your fries for a delicious poutine. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

The good: the fish is meaty, chips are cooked well and portion sizes are generous; service is quick and friendly, prices are reasonable; and the food doesn’t look or taste like geese.
The bad: the fish is beyond bland and is the result of a lack of seasoning on/in the fish and batter. Salt and pepper are clearly absent leaving you desperate to fix the issue by applying copious amounts of salt, lemon and lathering on tartar sauce. Unfortunately, I gave up on the sauce as it was not like any I’d previous tasted… a statement that if far from a complement.
Overall it was a disappointing experience largely due to some truly fantastic fish and chips experiences I’ve had in indie shops in places like Australia and the US where competition produces delicious results. That said, the issue here is taste, or the lack thereof, which can be easily resolved so 3 starts due to service, price and portion sizes.

The best fish & chips place in Montreal! Anything sea food is amazing (calamari included), I haven't tried the burgers. Even the fries and salads are good!
Friendly and attentive waitresses. rapid service, and fair price. Marianne in particular made my night, I will definitely be back.
